Hi im new, need some help deciding, if anything will bottle neck in this sytem
500w corsair psu
his iceq 6870
phenom iix4 805 @ 3.5
MSI 880GM-E41 mobo
G.Skill 8GB Ripjaws
WD 500gig hd

so atm i have a gts250 in and a crap acer mobo and 8 gig dd2, above is wot im looking to upgarde to in the next week, all i need to know does it sound like a balanced system, also my monitor is 1400x900 max resolution do u think il be able to play games like bf3 mw3 etc with a decent frame rate ? ty kindly

I have a 6870 and in bf3 i get average 55fps on high settings. I think it will be a good match for your processor. My gpu in bf3 is at 100% and my cpu is at 75% on all 4 cores.

it will be fine but why dont u go with the x4 955 instead of the 805?
is 115bucks on newegg

Avg OC uc an reach is from 3.8-4.2

Just for comparison I was getting above 40 fps almost all of the time playing at 1080p in high settings using my sig rig.

or u can wait till tommorow to see if AMD is really releasing Bulldozer and get a Quad core FX

ye i would but i already have the 805 here, its the gpu, ram and new mobo im getting, everthing else i already have..
Does the system sound balanced ?

Well If i was you i will Change that MSi board to tell u the truth Msi is a crappy Motherboard Company they make terrible Quality Mobos Compare to Asus and Gigabyte Just telling you from experience i had 4 Mobos burn on me while OC to only 1.45volts to get 4ghz stable lol

hey man just read this and look for Msi am3 socket motherboards u will see that Msi has the most Failure mosfet Rate ever

it takes time to look for a good mobo, from my experience dont Cheap out on the most important part of your built lol
