Was I the only one who noticed in the beta that you can make foxholes by using C4 to blow holes in the ground?

I tried this on metro and it did not work at all. I didn't try it in caspian but if it does then i'm very excited . Bad Company 2 incorporated a fantastic level of destruction but if the holes went a little deeper they would actually be functional as foxholes, speedbumps/traps, and mine traps. I play most BC2 games with assault so i can have c4 and the beta was no different. I got to c4 unlock ASAP and was disappointed with the lack of usability of it. I pray they have at least as much destruction as BC2. Buildings better fall and holes better deepen . And btw physics is not a fad, its a new feature set to become a staple in gaming. Would you want to play a game that only has static objects or rag doll animations?

It does work in Metro. You can get a hole ~4' deep.
