[Official] AMD Bulldozer Reviews Thread - Page 122

How about changing the thread's name to All Things Bulldozer and keep all the news in one place? There's quite a few Bulldozer threads popping up and flooding out other news posts.

It's not the board, as some has surmised - why on earth would AMD send the board with the chip if it performed worse than someone else's board? It just doesn't make any sense. The most up-to-the-minute BIOS update was available from AMD too, so it's not that.

I think Hardwareheaven's selection of games just happened to make BD look better than other selections of games; nothing more nothing less. There's no conspiracy. HH didn't do anything wrong; it was just a different test suite.
So your saying your using the same setup as what some believe bugged and your getting the same results. reallllyyy.

Damn wrong quote. This is for the guy that said the Honda was for people who wanted to drive Ferraris
False. The NSX set the automotive world on fire with its performance at its time. It put the Raging Bull and the Prancing horse on notice to the point that they created the Diablo and F355. Were it not for the NSX, we would not have been graced with the FD3S, R33, R34, R35, C5, C6(both of which were based off the FD3S), 996s, 997s, 3000GTs, and other ironic sports cars.

BD blowes BTW.

notice the 5.53 score on cinebench at 4.8 ghz?

I know that is the lower end bulldozer chip but still...

And by the way, Honda made the NSX to make people feel like they were driving a car compariable to a ferrari!
That is irrelevant as no logic is used in that situation.

And while the NSX is a great car, it still does not reach the level of the flagship European production cars, and was significantly cheaper. But if you want we can use Hyundai as an example instead, or Kia.

Not to mention the NSX was designed by the great Ayrton Senna.

Huh? Who believes this setup is bugged? The setup that AMD themselves sent to reviewers is bugged? I've seen people that think BD should be performing better say that, but no one with any sort of actual knowledge about the product. I'd love if this was all a bad dream and AMD trounced the 2600K, thus forcing Intel into a CPU war but I'm sorry that's just not the way it is.

Alright, all the discussion about the NSX is completely IRRELEVANT. Substitute Kia or Hyundai instead of Honda and try to grasp the actual point of the post.
