I think most rational people will continue buying the 2500k for less money and better gaming performance....

At the looks of Metro 2033 1920x1200 BD is even behind the 2500k and even the 2400.

All I have to say about this is FAIL

I am sorry AMD fanboys but you would have to be high to spend 200+ on this CPU. Even at $150 it wouldnt be worth it because the 2500k is about that price.

Is there a review comparing the i3 2100 to the FX 4100 or 6100?

Trolling aside, deymn AMD, you really fail hard this time.. would you ever give intel a good fight in terms of performance?

And it is the graphics card which renders the frames...

But yeah go ahead and get that CPU because it has 1fps better with a GPU bottleneck.

Pretty much what I expected. It is nice at least that is some applications it outperforms or compete closely with the i7 2600k. In consumer applications though its no contest, the IPC is the exact same as phenom. I wouldn't recommend bulldozer to anybody, get a 2600k or a get a 2500k, no room for bulldozer in between.

How is it a power guzzler? Here break it down liked this
Intel 4 cores = 155 watts = 38.75 watts/core
AMD 8 cores = 223 watts = 27.875 watts /core

How is it a power guzzler?

Stop looking at the specs, look at the performance.

It goes both ways, though. There are Intel fans that just plain want Intel to have a monopoly for some reason. Most AMD fans use AMD for the sake of competition (of which there is none now), but there are those fanatics that claim that no matter what, AMD has a better value. Or, no matter what, Intel is the best solution in every single category.

People need to wake up.

The fact is, Bulldozer only works in certain Workstation settings, nothing else. I see it failing at servers, in addition to the areas it has already failed, due to it's high power draw. Intel should further take the rest of the server market next year if tri-gate is all that it lives up to.
