Sad to see this, but in my mind i know its a new arch and its young but this is a major let down.
Many months ago I chose to go with my 2500k and im really glad I did

Were these fusion CPU/GPUs not supposed to use the graphics cores/stream processors or whatever they were called to do FP calculations? I thought the entire point of merging the two was more performance by going towards more GPGPU-like setup... or is this still in the future?

How dare AMD ( a company that just bought ATI a graphics card company ) make CPU's that are more easily adapted to handle anything graphics related.
I mean gosh, no one has ever complained about intel's integrated graphics....
How dare AMD use a new architecture to get money to support their R&D not like their competition has outrageously overpriced CPUs EVER....

Seriously....

How dare anyone try to make something that will actually perform better whole round in the coming years, than something that meets your insane demands of a cpu so that you can have the bigger e-peen on benchmarks and gain no real world improvements.

I'm drunk right now. To me, anyone complaining about AMD seems to not realize the mass marketing of two decades of intel, and how AMD is now copying them, while lurking... Not saying the current BD is BETTER "IPC" and certain benchmarks, but the ones they care about, are better. BD structure outperforms anything intel has to offer as an all in one solution.
Granted, many people see a need for having 3 FPS in a game they play once a day/week. I mean, who ever heard of gaming at 100 FPS vs 105!!!!!! I better support the top guys and not any sort of competition that doesn't even use their own fab labs god the ghosting on my 60hz lcd screen is so horrible at 100FPS it makes me look like a noob!1111111

Thanks for anyone who read my rant, and actually gets any of it.
forget what THEY care about..What about what "WE" care about?it's like amd just crapped on all its consumers..and made no apologies"We know what you want..here it is"It's like them telling us what we want..and what they provided is farrrrr from that!

Gulftown is also 10-20% faster than SB in theory, and highly-threaded professional applications that utilize all cores resemble this since the 2600k cant keep up there, but most people will say the SB is faster just because it is in gaming or 'regular' applications that dont make use of the additional threads.

Sorry, but I dont rate bottlenecked performance, because thats not a fair comparison.
Thats like sayin a GTX 580 is faster than a 590 because some games are not SLI optimized which would make the 580 superior in rare occasions.
I've been saying this over and over again.Too bad 90% of OCNers are unable to grasp this.
