Between Fingertip and Palm.

2. What's your sensitivity?
I cross my 1920 resolution in about 2-3cm.

3. What's your maximum budget?
No limit.

4. Do you want additional buttons?
The usual 4-5 are enough but of course I wouldn't mind if it has more buttons.

5. What games do you play?
Everything from strategy(real strategy hexfield & turn based) over MMOs and Sims to FPS.

6. Do you mind about prediction?
There shouldn't anything in that prohibits a 1:1 realization of my movements, if such features are in it must be possible to turn them off.

7. Other relevant information:
-Ergonomic for right hander.
-Sensor in the middle, I once tried one that hat the sensor moved closer to the thumb and I couldn't get used to it.
-Cable bot wireless.
-Always on, no sleepmode or if such mode is in it must be able to turn it off or set the delay high so sensor isn't constantly going on/off.
-If lights are thereit must be possible to turn them off.
-Shouldn't have problems with fabric pads(Zowie P-TF).

What's your maximum budget?

Probably 40$ but the last time I spent 40 was on a razer destructor pad that I didn't care for over time. An awesome cloth pad I'd spend $$ on though.

Comment:
I want a mousepad that gives incredible little friction, Right now i have Steelseries SP and it was really good in the start but after few years it is quite worn down someplaces and is less smooth,
I would prefer Plastic or sorts of, i dont like Metal nor glass since they freeze my wrists

thinking of making the switch back to cloth and optical since cs:go is right around the corner. Would the DA or G400 track any different on say the ss cs (insert game here) mouse mat as opposed to the solid color ones ?

I've been looking at the artisan pads, namely the hayate or hien lately....not sure which one to get though. I read that the QcK pads slow down pretty quick and dont last very long, but I'll take another look at them though since everyone seems to like them. I just dont want a 'budget' pad, I need something that will last a while.

Hey guys, im in the market for a new mouse and was hoping you guys could help me out.

My old mouse just died, it was a REALLY cheap mouse, microsoft intelli 2.0 I think (or maybe 1.0 :/ ). So basically not meant for gaming at all.. Also, I know like zero when it comes to gaming mice.


In any case. Now I am in the market for buying a new mouse. ALthough I am not really on a budget, but since I was using such a cheap mouse for so long, I dont see the point of putting in too much money on a new mouse.

My screen is a 1366x768 resolution screen, 15.6 inches. I've heard that the dpi required is relevant to screen size. So firstly, what is the idle mouse dpi I should get with my screen size?

I am not in the US so I will tell you what options I have (they are listed at the end).


1. What's your grip style?
Apparently I'm a palm grip (just read on razers site what grip's are tongue.gif ). But I heard that claw grip is pretty good so I might try to give that a show?

2. What's your sensitivity?
Medium I guess.

3. What's your maximum budget?
Since I'm not in the US, I dont think my budget would help. I have listed my options at the end.

4. Do you want additional buttons?
Yup I'd like extra buttons.

5. What games do you play?
League of leagends, RTS (such as startcraft 2) games, and sometimes fps or action games (such as crysis, max payne, hitman, deus ex, etc)

6. Do you mind about prediction?
I read what it is, but not quite sure how it will affect me.

7. Other relevant information:
Screen 1366x768 15.6 inch (laptop)
Mouse pad is qck steel, cloth and (i guess) smooth.
