decided to order a Xtrfy GP3 ("HeatoN edition"). hopefully it'll be here this week :-)
i might do a "proper review" of it just so that people who google the pad have something to find. though i'm not sure if it'll be worth it, since unlike someone like Ino, i don't have 99 other pads to compare it to

A lot of positive talk has occurred and now have to see personally if it's all true. Looking forward to your review Bukake, drown me in your review coolsmiley02.gif .

OK let me know how the GP3 is, was looking at it too but it's harder to get to U.S

I was also looking at mm400 by corsair but it's so small I'd have to raise my sensitivity on everything and idk if my life can handle that right now

exactly my issue with hard pads (too small), which is why i decided to get and try the GP3.
i have a Func F-series 10 as well, which is about the minimum i can deal with. unfortunately, the pad is bad. ( if anyone wants a Bad Pad, let me know! )

my Heaton Qpad is still ok, but it's easy to tell that the center is abused, while the edges still look fresh and sexy. but if the GP3 is anything like this one then i'll finally have an actual backup. ( it should be here tomorrow! biggrin.gif )

So I got the glides now (Hotline Games Competition 0.6mm) and what I did was that I removed the old ones (maybe a mistake from my end) that some people was recommendening in other threads. The mouse feels slower-ish than before when moving around (but doesn´t get stuck), perhaps it is because I removed the old ones instead of putting them on the old skates? Anything I should do? redface.gif

EDIT: Turns out that I forgot to remove the plastic film on the skates. Felt really stupid when I noticed it. Now it glides around super-smoothly! biggrin.gif

The HeatoN arrived today, fresh off a delivery truck.

They supplied the pad PLUS a very small flesh/yellow mice feet stickers, which I suppose are to be used with this mouse pad.

The packaging was superb, it's clear plastic that needs to be ripped apart to gain access to your pad, well worth the effort. I hate those type of anti-theft packaging which works in sticky fingered store fronts but could cause some people havoc when delivered to their front door.

The surface of the pad is somewhat grainy with a slight texture feel that I can pick up on my fingers but those with sensitive fleshy tips may say otherwise. Remember I rip apart engines, cam shafts and gearboxes, so my level of sensitivity isn't as heightened as the youngsters here on OCN.

Haven't hooked the pad up yet with my G900 so that has to wait but thus far when you spend the money on this mouse pad you see where it was spent on, especially the rubber backside of this pad, which will no doubt stick to any shiny surface like a Darwin Bush-Tick.

I couldn't imagine doing that to my hands, I am pretty darn feminine, I file my nails, remove dead skin, and all that on a pretty normal basis. tongue.gif
