Urgent help for deciding mobo for 24/7 folding riggy

Thread Starter
Hey guys. Winter's coming and I need to build a rig to keep my room warm
I sold my Cpu/mobo/memory a while back and now I need a new set.
First of all I don't have a budget, I have money but I shure don't want to spend it
I will use the rig daily, but it will fold 24/7.
What I already have:
Cases
HDD
peripherals
An antec TP-650 PSU
a 9800GT that is my main folding card

What I have been thinking so far is to get a really cheap h61 board with 4x pci-e (1x16x, 3x1x) and get adapters off ebay for extra GPU's EDIT: the board I had in mind was the H61M-E33 B3 by MSI
The processor would then be a i3-2100, also folding.
With some cheapy 4gb memory set this would cost about 200euros
So how does this sound?

i would opt for the 2500k if you are going with more than one gpu... plus you can OC it and run the bigadv hack for 8 core manipulation under native linux or a vm linux box.

EDIT: I would also throw a bigger heater in there like a GTS 450 or GTX 460 if you can swing one for cheap.

I'd go 2600k with some 2133 ram and install VM linux so the bigadv units you're running will have a lower TPF or just run bigadv in windows. That way you can still use it in windows. It'll save you some money on electricity and the output will be better.

I guess this is just a matter of how much I want to spend on folding
My preferred budget would be 200€-300€ but it seriously looks like that isn't happening If I wanted to fold mainly CPU.
2500k/2600k+Cheap z68/p68 board+memory would be 350€-450€ depending on cpu. Cpu ppd 25k-50k I guess.
i3-2100+h61+memory would be 220€. PPD from cpu would be like 8k? Money I saved could go to used 450's, I could almost get three of them, Total 40kppd perhaps?

This is a tough decision for me The reason I would prefer to go for gpu mainly folding is that bigadv output would exponentially decline the more I used my computer..
Gpu folding would be more independent of usage.

Power usage isn't a problem at all. Our house is electricity heated so this rig would just be a "heater for the cause"
We'll probably see BD folding performance soon so I'll wait for that. Thanks for your help so far

Well I don't know conversion rates, but I just got a 2600k for 300$, z68 asus maximus iv gene for 140$, and 2133 RAM for 55$. I also bought a psu for 55$ and a CPU cooler for 30$. I didn't need a case or hdd. But that setup was like 550$ usd.
Ppd, is 28000 for smp and a tpf of 2:14, haven't done a bigadv because my cooler has not arrived yet.

Sent from my Thunderbolt 4G using Tapatalk.

edit:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29946626/summary.html

If you want to see some stats on my 2600K CPU only fold, for now. Also the 2600K is the Amor Fati.

edit2: Did some calculations here and I think the CPU, MoBo, and RAM is around 358.5656 Euros.

That BD will heat your house for sure!

i would still build around the 2500k give yourself a nice little upgrade over that E5200 and break over that 4GHz. ram is on the cheap and you cuold probably find a used cooler over in the marketplace locally. shoot maybe even a used setup! whether you choose intel or amd its all going to warm your tooshie... turn your E5200 in to a gpu farm and aim it at your feet under your desk

Actually I would buy a round trip plane ticket to Houston, Texas and find deeeebs, lurk around him for a bit, and when the time is right borrow without asking his folding setups! muahahahah

Ok so I bought a used set of 2x2gb 1600 6-8-6 1.5v ram for 45e, used and I know they go over 2000 with 1.6v
Next up is a mobo, and a local shop has http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/Z68A-G43-(G3)-MURO for sale at that price and it seems like a good mobo?
If you want to fiddle with google translate you can check the other mobo's prices too and recommend a better one perhaps?
The cheapest prices for 2500k and 2600k are 189e and 260e so I think it would be worth getting the 2600k despite being on a budget.. This would be a total of just under 400€, and I got 130e for my sig mobo/cpu/ram (I don't really have this rig anymore ) so total would be 270e of mony spent..

Bamp because a new mobo is on for sale, the P8Z68-V LX
Would this be a good mobo? OC plans only "moderate", so 4.5G would be ok (for now )
Linky: http://www.jimms.fi/tuoteinfo/P8Z68-...=1318516689109
So I need some opinions on this one pretty quick. Is it a decent mobo for OC'in?
It doesn't have VRM heatsinks But I can make ones for it
