Isn't that pretty old? And laptops are very different in design from each other. What works for one laptop doesn't really work for another. And where will he get the replacement GPU

well not that old for me i consider old and new as per spec's not the cover doesnt matter if u got xps or inspiron as long as they have same configuration

I doubt it, and if they can it would cost a lot. It would be better to actually buy what you need the 1st time around especially with something like a laptop.

I think that the guide is really old since the GPU being talked about was 7000 series. And over time, things really change. Even though it's the same model, it can have a lot of redesigning under the hood(like Apple)

i didnt know at first that even graphic cards or as they say chips in lappy's have different series i thought if its a 1gb graphics then it would just do fine but now when i am dealing with these stuff i came to know these 500 series and gt ati radeon n bla bla bla
i am not much of a pc gamer but now i am got to know all these stuff about hardwares of pc lappy's in detail , i used to play on consoles but i thought it would be ok and sold ps3 and added some money and bought this lappy cause it provides mobility too
and i aint got a prob with spending lotta cash 2 upgrade i just wanna know which one will be the best here to upgrade
