At the clock speeds and voltages all of my hardware is running at folding 24/7, I just don't see any of it lasting more than 2-3 years, even though it is all water cooled. biggrin.gif

**Update once more** biggrin.gif

Well, after a bit of tweaking and countless runs, I've finally think I may have hit a wall with my card. I cannot seem to push it any further and this is my best run so far. It looks as if I got a little boost over my old score due to my new memory overclock. What is awesome though is I hit the FINALLY hit the 5500 gpu score, which was my goal. Oh, and see the notepad in my screenshot for my voltage. The new afterburner beta simply adds/subtracts from the stock voltage. So, since the stock voltage on my card (according to an old version of afterburner) is 1050mV, and the new afterburner says +100mV, I reached this OC and score with 1150mV.

By the way, I suspect you'll be creating a new class due to the new 448core Ti, correct?

I'm just going by what MSI rates it at. Of course, they say that you can overclock it to 1080 clock with max voltage as well, so this company puts alot of faith into the construction of this gpu! Obviously, they're going to be slightly biased... biggrin.gif But again, I'm not going to use them for gaming over say 3-5 years max, so I'm not afraid to let 'em run 24/7, make 'em earn their keep! thumb.gif

Am I missing out on a significant gain by not bumping the mem clock? Right now my card is stable at the following setting.

Core Voltage - 1025
Core Clock - 928
Shader Clock - 1856
Mem Clock - 2004

Stock
Voltage - 987
Core - 822
Shader - 1645
Mem - 2004
you are missing out on a gain but it would be far from significant. in fact i would deem it negligible lol

I will later decide if it needs a new category depending on the scores our new 448 core owners will give us.

You can see my max temp in degrees C in afterburner on the top right of my screen. I reached a max of 81 degrees C, and my ambient temp was pretty high during the time of the overclock. I live in a studio apartment and was cooking food in the oven, so my entire place turns into an oven. Haha

How can you think that you're cpu bottlenecked with 10113 graphics score? If you were cpu bottlenecked, your score would be a heck of a lot lower. You may not have the fastest cpu on the forums. Nor do I, but bottlenecking would affect your graphics score, alot. Remember, it's not your overall that we're looking at here, just what your cards can do. There is a difference between "not having the fastest cpu on the block, and being bottlenecked by it." I run DDR2, which keeps my Physx score under 5K, (in the basement, so to speak). But my graphics score is not "bottlenecked" by anything. It is what it is. The only way to score higher, is to push your overclock to the max. biggrin.gif
