NVIDIA [GTX 560/560 Ti] OC Club - Page 27

MSI claims the Hawk will run at 1080?

I had mine up to 1030 stable, but don't know if it'd do much more. I haven't messed with it much. I believe my TFII OC card is at .987 stock, the Hawk at 1.087 and my Galaxy is 1.012 stock. (Think that's right on the Hawk). I've lowered the voltage on the Hawk to .987 and it still ran at 950 fine.

I've tried lowering the voltage while crunchin' wu's and if I go below 1.025 or thereabouts, I get errors in my calculations (at 950/2100). I've lowered the voltage to .96 and clocks to 820 (reference) just to see temps. Under full load, it was way below 60c, 56 or 57c? Don't remember exactly, but was just blown away how much just a little voltage and clock can increase the temps. Evidently, default load voltage is set by the gpu itself, as I have one that defaults at (roughly) 1.08 and one at 1.06..... Not sure why the difference.

welcome to the club, brother, increase your voltage to 1025 and core clock to 1000 and run test again, if it doesn't crash, raise it by 10 and test again till you do crash.

once it crashes, lower the core clock by 5 and run again till it stops crashing.

you have a lot of potential for OC'ng esp with MSI, also run through the pages and check other people settings of the same card. that will give you a better idea where to start from. good luck thumb.gif

Here's my best score so far. I do have a question (please excuse me if this has already been asked), i've run at a higher clock but when I re-run at the exact same specs (no changes), it crashes mad.gif. Is this normal? What could be causing this?

Im gonna keep tweaking...Thanks for your help.
