Dude, srsly?? you guys have your own club for 448s --> this way.

You're making the rest of us with classic Ti's look bad with them pwnage cards. biggrin.gif

But seriously, them be some badass cards. The scores you guys get stock, we have to OC to hell to get. I REALLY want to get one but not sure to wait for 600 series. Oh the agony!

Here's a 448c for $269 shipped, no rebate!!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162090

Although not my ideal board, nor cooler, but for $270 shipped, it's a pretty good deal, to say the least!! smile.gif

Even if you could get a half way decent OC, and keep respectable temps, it's worth buying, for those who don't want to achieve the world record in overclocking, but just want's a hell of a GPU.

I'm seriously contemplating selling my card and going AMD. I had a 5770 awhile back that never gave me any problems. I'm getting display driver crashes randomly when I'm just on my desktop, and just now I was playing BFBC2 online and after 10minutes it froze up my system. I was able to play with all medium settings and no AA, but as soon as I turned it up to High with no AA, it didn't last very long. I'm going to reset to stock and play online again and see how long that lasts.

My original problem was at stock things were crashing, and I found a thread saying that this card in particular is usually under volted, and recommended increasing the volt, or decreasing the clock.

I'm not sure what to try next. I'm running the 290 drivers. I don't care about OCing to max potential, I just want to run my game. If I underclock from 950 to say, 850, do you think I'll still be able to play at High settings?

well this club says GTX 560/560 Ti and the 448 core is still tagged as GTX 560 Ti tongue.gif sorry but I must welcome all 448 cores to the club. But those none 448 don't have to compete with them. Just compete with those that have the same chip, that is why I created a separate category for 448 cores... You will just burn out your gpu if you try competing with them.thumb.gif
