I do use Afterburner for monitoring and adjusting clocks and fan profile but wasn't sure of the voltage control being the same.
The newer AB also has several controls for voltage settings. Any advice on how to best set those?
Forcing constant voltage option in afterburner doesnt work with this card, or it works part time. It is supposed to keep a constant max voltage of what you specify so it doesnt fluctuate and in theory would increase stability. With our cards it isnt functioning. You want to check the box to unlock voltage control.
And the only other thing I can think of is the voltage slider to set the voltage, i may be missing something but I am at work right now so I cant visually see it.
MSI AB is the community favorite for overclocking any brand cards afaik. As far as trusting it, that is up to you. Overclocking and overvolting in the first place is risky business dont do it unless you dont mind having to buy a new one
eVGA precision(i think its called?) i didnt like very much and I cant remember why. If it works then I guess it comes down to preference. (I cant confirm any differences in features because I only used precision for about a half hour)
