I recently downloaded evga precision x as well, should I just be using msi afterburner?
Any help would be appreciated, newb. Thanks in advance.thumb.gif

Reason most people use msi ab is because it has been around awhile and it has a lot of features. Also it works on a ton of cards. Evga precision has provided mixed results for most. I would recommend msi ab but dont rule out precision. Read tutorials and dont fry your stuff. If your on stock cooling dont even try the clocks that are on the leaderboard.

+1 for that! ^ I recommend MSI Afterburner as well, and use Heaven 3.0 to test your overclocks. I run my card at 950mhz (core)/ 2200 mhz (memory) @ 1.062 Core Voltage 24/7 and it runs very smooth. You HAVE to have GOOD COOLING if you are going for a high clock though. If your card is the card I think it is it has a 900mhz core clock and a 1800 mhz memory clock? I would say use the +10 method. Just use MSI Afterburner to increase the core clock my 10 and the run heaven or 3DMark and check for artifacts etc. etc. If its stable keep on going until you get artifacts or crashes, make sure yo monitor your temps. though! Happy overclocking! biggrin.gif

...And by the way can I get a confirmation on my overclock on the previous page? thumbsupsmiley.png

My entry, can't get past 975Mhz for the life of me... I need to update my drivers and see if I get any performance increases.

I have had the best luck with 296.xx drivers. The 3XX.XX drivers have not been forgiving of my overclock at all.

Sup guys I'm new to the thread! I will be overclocking my EVGA GTX 560ti ds sc sometime this week! Hopefully I pull some good enough results to join the club! I have it running at 949mhz but from what I'm reading i could squeeze a bit more out of it. Any one any recommendations? Thanks for any help! biggrin.gif

Requesting for a score update,

Got a new CPU to complement my 560 ti.

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3989823
Graphics score: 4696

Also, my stock volts are 1.0120V as GPU-Z reports. Not sure how accurate it is.
