Beated my old record

Thats the maximum core clock and memory clock what I can get, everytthing above 1040 is c rash,

voltage pumping dosn't help .

So this is the max of my ASUS ENGTX560 DCII OC/2DI/1GD5

Hey all,

I am currently running a 560Ti 2gb with a modest OC to 1 ghz.

It performs decently, but to be honest i would like to get a little more out of it.

Is it worth it to spend $200 to buy another one and run them in SLI?

I hear that they scale very well, my only concern is that I have the EVGA brand and it is constantly out of stock now. Would another brand 2 gb card be compatible without issue? Also, can you overclock both cards in SLI?

Thanks!

[EDIT 3/5/13 4:15 PM EST]
I ended up getting an MSI 2 gb twin frozr 880 ghz one and will SLI as soon as it comes in!

Is there anything in particular I should know about it? I'm guessing I should put it on top of the EVGA card since it supposedly runs cooler.

Does it matter which GPU card output I use to connect to my monitor?

Also, in regard to OC-ing the two cards I'm guessing I should reset my 1 ghz OC back to stock, and then OC the two cards together? (although the EVGA has a stock speed of 822 mhz vs. 882 ghz on the MSI card)

Thanks again!

The 2gb versions would be the only one's i'd try to run in SLI or the 448 cored versions. I've been a little disappointed in my 1gb 560ti's in SLI in most gaming situations.

Well..I'm presently surprised about the more then adequate level of performance of running two normal 560's in SLI! This isn't for my main system but one that I do a lot of testing and tweaking on and have setup to do some occaisional gaming myself or to let my nephews use for gaming when they're around...
I have a Zotac and a Gigabyte in SLI..the Giga is 10 MHz higher in stock clock but otherwise are identical and run seamlessly in SLI. I've put it through a lot of extensive testing and benchmarking and have left the setup in dual oc of 915MHz core clock and 2250 (4500) MHz mem clock and they run great and never over 78 degrees either. The oc gave me 12% more performance.. And my main benchmarking and stressing was done via Unigine Heaven 4.0.

They basically perform at a level as high as a single GTX 670 and I'm very pleased with that and somewhat surprised. All the testing scored very well with great frame rates..I can run almost any game at practically peak Ultra or Extreme settings with full tessellation and AA at 1080p res at playable 30+ fps frame rates..
And at high level with moderate Tess and mid AA at 720p it scored very high and 105 FPS! Not too shabby at all.

So aside from some higher wattage usage and moderate heat and sound levels..this SLI setup is surprisingly quite good and more then enough for a good gaming rig for now and into the moderate future

Hey this is my first post here.
been ghosting a bit and finally joined today.
I just have conventional cooling on my gtx 560. getting a new case this week and should have enough room for another water cooling setup.
Awesome thread BTW.
Okay bumped it up to 995 and actually got just over to the 5000 mark.

Can't wait till I get the GPU water cooled.

Any 560 SC owners in here that achieved 1Ghz oc? Currently I am at 920 and 940 not stable, so just checking if someone has reached it in a non-Ti. Thanks
