Download the NVIDIA 285.62 WHQL Drivers, and the MSI Afterburner 2.2.0 beta 8
Download also the free 3dMark11 at their website and the Unigine Benchmark 2.5 for further stability testing.

1. Increase the Core Clock by 10Mhz.
2. Use 3dMark11 for initial stability test.
3. If no artifacts encountered, continue to increase it by 10.
4. If you encountered artifacts during 3dMark11 run, increase voltage by the smallest increment possible. Anywhere between 6-12mV.
5. Limit of GPU is when you reached either max of 1.1V on core or a max load temp of 80-85c or if no performance is experience in spite the voltage increase.
6. When you are near the limit, you could tweak the core clock by either +/- 5Mhz.
7. To increase the memory clock, reset first the core clock to default, then increase mem clock by 25-50Mhz..
8. Run the 3dMark11 and continue to increment until artifacts are found.
9. When artifacts start appearing, tweak the mem clock by either +/- 5-15Mhz.
10. Run Unigine Benchmark and your desired games to further test stability.

Please do post here the update on your GPU OC. Good luck man!wink.gif

So for the club thing, would you rather I post stuff for my OC that is stable 24/7 folding 5187 point -advmethods work units, or a silly benchmark that doesn't come anywhere close to stressing the card as hard?tongue.gif

For folding I've been at 1065 core/2130 shader @1.162v, running 24/7 for 3 months or so.
The card will do >1100 core/2200 shader in furmark.

I've never run a graphics benchmark on it, since it is in a dedicated folding rig. I'll download the required software and run the benchmarks so I can join. smile.gif

Here is my submission.

These are the settings the card has been folding at 24/7 for 2-3 months.
The card is water cooled, and usually runs around 51-54ºC.
1165/2350 @1.162v

I think the graphics score in 3DMark11 can be dragged down a little if you have a crappy enough CPU.
I think the Junk Phenom CPU in the folding rig my 560 Ti is in hurts the graphics score a little.

Hello guys i just bought a new MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk about a month ago and today i decided to do some overclocking with it.
The out of the box specs of the card are:

Core Clock: 950MHz

Memory: 1050MHz

Shader: 1900MHz

Just to mention i already tried to overclock it 1 week ago and managed to make it work perfectly at core clock = 985MHz, memory = 1140MHz and shader = 1970MHz.

So now i decided that i wanted a Core Clock of 1000MHz to satisfy me.So using afterburner v 2.2.0 Beta 8 i just tweaked the core clock without messing with core voltage and put it at 1000MHz.After passing the FurMark v1.9.1. an 3DMark 11 v1.0.2.0 tried to run
Heaven 2.5 Unigine to ensure my stability but while running it in benchmark mode an error occured
saying d3d11 AppWindow::do swap(): device removed.I tried tweaking the core voltage at start to +12mV then +18 then +25 and even tried out +31mV but all my tries failed still getting the same error. Also at out of the box settings Heaven 2.5 Unigine runs smooth.

I ve checked many overclockers who own this specific card and many of them have achieved a core clock of 1000MHz and a lot of them even more so am i doing something wrong? Do u seggest anything else i should try or tweak??

Forgot to mention the Nvidia drivers i am using are Forceware 285.62.

How hot was the GPU getting when you were going for the higher clocks?
To get up to 1000mhz stable, you will need a significant bump in voltage over what was needed to run at 900-950mhz, which means significantly more heat.
If you haven't already, switch from automatic fan control to manual, and set the fans at 100% to maximize cooling.
The automatic fan profiles on most cards usually respond to slow, and are geared more towards minimizing noise, rather than maximizing cooling.

Your card has better cooling than my reference design card had on air, but heat could still be limiting you.
I've found that as you get into the higher clock speeds, the GPU needs to be kept cooler to be stable.
My card really doesn't do well above 1000mhz if the GPU temperature gets over 60ºC. Fortunately my water cooling setup makes it easy to stay below that.

Don't be afraid to push the voltage slider up, just be mindful of temperatures.
Some of us with water cooling even use modified bios to go past the 1.15v limit. wink.gif

keep upping the voltage till you get it stable. on afterburner my voltage is capped at 1100mV so you have some headroom if yours is the same. just make sure it doesnt get too hot under full load in furmark.

Thank you for your help my out of the boc Core Voltage under Full load is 1.075 so i dont really want to go above 1.100 under full load which means i dont want to upper the core voltage more than +25mV for everyday use. Was hoping that 1.100 (+25mV) would be enough for a 1000MHz core clock overclock:)

One other strange thing is that i tried now running Heaven 2.5 Unigen again but with Core Clock at 995MHz stock GPU voltage and it ran smooth. Its really strange to fail at 1000MHz with even +31mV voltage increase and run smooth at 995MHz with stock GPU voltage(1.075 full load).
