Cat proof cheap headphones

Hello, my cat's killed about 3 headphones so far. They were all in the $20~$30 range so I am not too mad about it. I was wondering what decent headphones ($40-$60 range ish) come with cat teeth proof sleeves? Should I just buy any headphones and just buy steel sleeves for them?

If your cat is getting to them behind your computer, you can:

1) Elevate your computer. Mine sits on a waist high book shelf that they can't jump up on. I actually like this more than having it on the floor, all my wires run above the desk to a 6 plug strip I have mounted to the wall.

2) Coat the wires in bitter stuff. You can buy a little bottle at a pet store. Most cats absolutely HATE it, and won't even go near them.

3) Spray your cat with a spray bottle adjusted to the narrow spray, not the big wide spray. They definitely don't like that and will generally get the point when you blast them everytime they come near your computer. Not the face, just on their backside.

4) Get a little box online that releases compressed air when the cat triggers a motion sensor on it, place this near the computer. Most cats will learn not to mess with it because they REALLY hate the compressed air blasts.

Cats are cats though, sometimes they can't be deterred. My cat is relentless. They have pretty sharp teeth too, I'd be surprised to see something they couldn't chew through. My small cat has eaten through wire mesh sheathing on cables.

My headphone wires are always running on the ground :[

I will try coating them with bitter stuff to keep them away when I get new headphones (but aren't these temporary?)

why does the cat eat the wires???
those can do some electricity if they encounter saliva

anyway ,those 4 methods are good

do them and buy the JVC RX700 , and if your cat will do it again just kick it or

My cat had a neurological problem when it was a kitten =/

It is kind of stuck in a kitten phase in a lot of ways, has poor balance and bites things, really hyper and cries a lot. Otherwise a very sweet little cat. Elevating my computer works so well because she can't really jump up there. My other cat can, but could care less about wires.

Give the cat away to someone before you mistreat it, the cat doesn't understand that it is making you angry or breaking things.

because:
USB headphones suck ,
Wireless headphones suck ,
headphones are better from headsets so they suck

so what we have here is a Wireless USB headset

i would rather to have my headphones eaten and change them every month than to use rubbish headset

You can get a nice wireless set of headphones, but they are going to cost you.

I associate Plantronics with business telephone headsets more than music.
