Back when I used to have a 3D vision I only had my glasses go dead on me once. I let it charge for a while (15min) and started using them again. I had 3D vision for a few years and charged the glasses maybe 3 times. . . I never really did use them and they mostly collected dust. Bad vision, lazy eye, and glasses ontop of glasses = not much 3D fun

Go for the wireless ones since no health problems are imposed by infra red spectrum unless directed at your eyes ( wich in this case is not ) or high modulation frequencies ( not applicable here or any house hold appliances ). 50 Quid is a lot so ask yourself this : Can you pay for it ? Yes ? Then go for it. Do you have to raise more money or buy other stuff too ? Then go wired. I would go for wired since it's not VR so you move around the room shooting stuff, you still sit down at the computer so the cable won't be a nuisance.
Having the USB cable hanging off the glasses is annoying in my opinion. Definitely go for wireless. Fully charged, the battery lasts around 60 hours of continuous use so it's pretty good!
i would get the wireless glasses without even thinking about the wired ones. as kevingreenbmx sayd....I would want the wireless ones for freedom of movement.
Going Wired.... I don't like the idea of dropping 130 quid and then having some emitter on the desk... plus, knowing myself, i'd misplace the wireless ones and find a hole in the glass xD
Is there any difference in performance or effect in the wired/wireless battle?
The "additional stuff" in 3D Vision 2 over 3D Vision is an absolute joke. No point waiting around. Plus, you need a 3D Vision 2 certified monitor (LightBoost crap) and that means you have much less choice.
Something tells me you're going to hate the USB cable dangling off your glasses. Perhaps not the first few days, but later on...
If you are trying to get a perspective from other 3D vision owners I'd say wireless for most of the reasons stated. In all honesty the freedom of movement is huge. That's just my two cents.
The extra cost is a drop n the bucket after the price of a 120Hz monitor. Though after trying a 120Hz monitor even if I wasn't going 3D it be hard to go back down to a 60Hz after seeing the difference.
Good luck and let us know which you finally went with.
