There really is no max overclocking frequency. Some CPU overclocks so well while others not so much. You can have a E7400 OC nicely but another E7400 OC badly.

well yet the frequency is 320 i think because its overclocked on 3255Mhz wich normal temperature idle is 44C loaded 50 70 max

temps wise: (which one where you quoting?)

Tcase : for you should be 74c "CPU case temprature"
TjMax : 95-100c "Juntion temp (one per core) on chip itself"

As for OC-ing:

(make sure pci is on 100Mhz and ram is set to stock or as close as (this will move up as you OC so keep checking it (it is some thing to tweak after the CPU is stable))

Just follow the steps:

1. creep up (15/20) FSB until you don't post into windows.

2. increase Vcore one notch and try to boot (if you don't boot to windows increase vcore again until you get into windows.)

3. THEN try prime95 for 15 mins just to make sure your ok to go on. (if it fails up Vcore) and try again on prime95 until ok

4. then start knocking up the FSB again repeat (steps 1 to 3) until you are @ your required speed or your Vcore/ temps are to High ( you should be 20-30c under Tjmax @ full load) and you need to go back a few setting.

Do this for now and see where you get to post back with any issues and where you are up to (ie Vcore/fsb)

Once this is done we can look at Ram timing/speed
