it will but it wont at the same time u will Notice some lag in the Video not just becuase the GPu but because the Pentium 4 my Sister has a x2 555 unlock to b55 with a 4250 integrated GPu and it runs 1080p Videos like a madman

If you offload the processing to the GPU, you should be fine. With Windows, nothing is better than CoreAVC codec.

The laptop I'm on here is a Core T2300 with Intel integrated gfx. I can play 720.


*The CPU is weak.

That's true in theory; has anyone stopped to realize yet that his 9800 GPU isn't UVD compatible? Therefore, he's limited to CPU decoding, and that's going to be a complete and utter mess at 720p.

Owen - just pick up an inexpensive, sub-$50 UVD 3 card (HD 6450).

I've ran a Barton 2500+ (1.7GHz I think) with an HD2450 and it played 1080 with no issues. I would think you would be fine.
