Cool man, I'll just copy/paste my response from the other thread you posted that in:

"Considering that graph doesn't show SLI, or Crossfire scaling I don't see how it's applicable to the conversation.

I'd really like to see some benches of a FX chip with 2 or 3 hd6970's, or gtx580's comparing to i7's, i5's, and phenom II's."

I'm pretty sure my i3 could post similar numbers with whatever single GPU they used, as it seems their test is GPU bound anyway.

Makes me more worried.
You would have to change your PSU.

On top of that this guy stated that his FPS is between 45 min 86 max (matches up to the other 3 cpus up there)... on a Q9550.

BF3 Beta was GPU bound - That is all.

then why does my system lag to hell on medium at only 1680x1050, with 100% CPU usage and only 60% gpu?

Because at those settings the GPU isn't going to be doing anything...

Because you're on a dual core system at the moment. A quad core Phenom II does not suffer from this problem.

Also, I'm still not convinced that BD won't do well in multi-GPU setups. We know that BD is a flop when it comes to conventional applications, but Bulldozer is not a conventional CPU, so it may behave differently when faced with a multi-GPU setup.

Someone needs to test this. I seriously want to know if having those extra cores really helps in multi-GPU setups.

but he said it was gpu limited and what now is being said is that it is CPU limited.

contradict much?
