[IGN]Square Enix Details Photo-Realistic Next-Gen Engine - Page 8

Any progress is nice progress.

Despite not having bad graphics now, this can't hurt the evolution of "gameplay", regardless of shortened development span or not. All it comes down to in the end is how the developers want to streamline the content and which type of gamers\\platforms they want to target.

Id rather have photo-realistic physics ( if that makes sense ) so the game FEELS real, rather than real looking GRAPHICS, yea the game may look real, but if the walk animation looks like crap, its not believable.

Doesn't sound like it's for PC gamers.
Because Square Enix never release games on PC...

Dynamic physics-based model animation variation.

I don't know why game developers haven't implemented it yet.

Also, I disagree heavily. I'd rather a game have amazing graphics. It's more immersive, in my opinion.

FF13: Crysis-like CGI graphics. Easier than Cooking Mama gameplay.
