I am a bit disappointed but at least I know that if I get a 1090T for $100 cheaper I'll not be missing out on any extra performance! I didn't even buy my AM3+ board with BD in mind so no big deal to me really.

Really I think this is the future of AMD. Poor IPC, and continuing on in poor IPC's.
But surely they have to sit down and say right, we messed up, lets pump some serious money into our new CPUs otherwise we're gonna end up with nothing left.

tru, but hasnt that been true with alot of their chips. The best they can do is just lower the price a lot more.

I'd say give it a few weeks until there are a few more updates. I would expect performance to rise several percent with newer software.

I originally planned on buying Bulldozer around January anyway. I would say that the FX 8120 is still worth the money. I'm still undecided on the FX 8150.
Hopefully this isn't the full potential of these chips. I'd like to see good folding results.

Honestly they probably shouldn't have even released the chips. I'm happy that my chip is more powerful though. Phenom II is the pinnacle of AMD performance, should have done a die shrink with a better DDR3 IMC ditch DDR2 and more cache, maybe some more transistors if that's possible. All while keeping at 4 cores. I fail to see how it's okay to sell slower chips for more money than the older faster PII's and also more than an i5 2500K.

This is all my opinion.

I think if prices were around 15-20% lower, Bulldozer wouldn't seem so bad. At least that is how I feel.
