Making your own biocide?

Thread Starter
Im currently waiting on all my stuff for my water cooling loop and I ordered my pt nuke from petras tech shop. Only problem is it won't be getting here until 4 days after my hardware I was wondering if I could male my own version of pt nuke? Im currently in ap chemistry in my high school and we made a solution of distilled water and Cu2SO4 or copper 2 sulfate in different concentrations would this work the same way? Was just curious and wondering if anyone else had tried it thanks all

Or... You could run your loop for a few days until the PT Nuke comes and then add it when it does. No harm done.

I was more kind of curious if anyone had made it and how complicated it was cuz I looked at the formula and remembered it from class lol that's all

copper sulfate will work.. make sure ppm isn't to much as it can become corrosive to your blocks

Not sure why you'd bother, not like the stuff is expensive.
