Come on Lune, you have nothing to hide but would you want someone putting a camera in your room?

They promise you won't notice it's even there, it'll be tiny and they're not trying to check you out or anything they just want to monitor some stuff that might be going on here and there. Don't worry about it~

You see what they mean? This is the issue with privacy, it's a very~ very sensitive issue. :3

it would be pretty easy for them to listen to you whenever they wanted...

tailoring their ads specifically towards you!

Let me quickly reply to some fellow members.

How about they steam does this exact same thing?
I do not have Steam and I was not talking about Steam.

For instance, you download a pirated EA game, they will find out, and could very well get into contact with you about it.
Excuse me, but I didn't think policing their consumers is allowed, is it? If you are just speculating on what they could use the data for, not only you do not know what you are talking about but also you are off-subject. Can you please post something useful, or nothing at all?

Try this simple fix if you are worried so much about Origin:
Don't use it.
Irony is not helpful when we just want to get genuine advice. Please do not contribute to the discussion if you are not actually willing to contribute.

This, and this alone is the answer.

If you dont like the terms of the EULA, dont use the software! Dont want EA collecting data, dont use the software.

Easy.........Simple.........

Anyone who thinks the quoted comment is being smart ass, needs to remove their head from their smart ass. Its the most logical and simple answer. Anyone who cant see that needs help.
