Not worth it.

In fact I went to Microcenter today and picked up an i5-2500K and a Gigabyte mATX USB 3 and SATA 3 mobo for ~$260 USD after taxes and rebates. The sales associate who brought out the bundle for me asked if I saw the Bulldozer benchmarks, I said "Yup, that's why I'm here getting an i5-2500K". Someone behind me in the line said they were going the PII X6 route as performance was comparable and a little cheaper as well.

All in all, not a good day for AMD
