Can i overclock my

Hello,
I want to know if it possible to overclock my Nvidia Geforce GT 540M
if the overclocking is possible ,how can i do it !^_^

Try and download Rivatuner and see if it works with your mobile GPU.can't see why it wouldn't.

MSI Afterburner is preferred by many over Rivatuner today. I believe it's because Rivatuner is no longer being developed.

I'm pretty sure you CAN using afterburner.. but idk if its safe with the cooling of laptops

i overclocked my mobile GPU with MSI afterburner but when i reboot the laptop, clock settings resets to default :s
Need help please :'(

On the main page of MSI AB in the bottom left below your profiles there will be a setting that say "apply OC settings at startup" click it and a green dot will appear next to it.

i don't know if i'm asking a lot of questions,but why games run with less fps after the overclocking ? :s (GPU's temperature is under 70°c)

Could be an unstable overclock. Use Unigine Heaven to test for stability, run it at least 15 minutes watching for rays of colored light as signs of instability. They look kinda like sun rays but many different colors and not near the sun. Other signs of instability would be either your drivers or Unigine crashing. If it was an unstable overclock (which it very likely was) then your core speeds will be lower than you set them in the MSI AB monitoring window because they crashed, so you will have to reboot and start again with a more conservative overclock.
