Metro 2033 Crashing?

Thread Starter
I have a sapphire 6950 overclocked to 910/1375 using trixx. Every game I play works smooth for hours except for metro 2033, which crashes after 5-10 minutes to a frozen screen with vertical lines. Why would this be happening? Thanks all

Metro 2033 is stressing the card more than other games, you can either backdown the OC or increase the voltage to stabilize playing this game. Also watch the temperature. This game creates a lot of heat with constant 99% load during gameplay.

Yeah Crysis 2 runs crash free. My temps stay good too (avg 70-73) during metro. Trixx doesn't let me raise voltage any higher than 1.18 so I guess I'm just gonna keep clock down. At 900mhz/1375 I just played for like 20 minutes without a crash so hopefully it stays that way

That's strange, Crysis 1/2 are just as demanding if not more so than Metro. Metro however uses physx. Btw Metro doesn't peg the gpus 99% load all the time, ever. Blame it on Nvidia.
