Best Quiet H100 Fans

Thread Starter
Hey OCN,

I have an H100, and the stock fans, as well as the sflex g's i had laying around are waay too loud. I'm looking for a fan that has really good acoustic performance as well as cooling performance in the context of the h100. I don't really mind spending ~$60 for the both the fans.

I would still go with the ones I mentioned. They are the favorite as far as corsair coolers go.

hmm sounds good. Just stumbled upon the Noctua NF-R8. The marketing for it seems awesome...but does it perform well (i.e. good static air flow). The gentle typhoons look really good though. Just want to make sure I get the best possible fan. Also are those good case fans?

The Noctua NF-R8 is a 80mm fan:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608006

You need 120mm - they are good fans too - still the best fan in my opinion is the one I mentioned before. Here is a review of the fan you recommended:
http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...an-review.html

Typhoons will be faster in a more quiet way
