Laptop for BC2

Thread Starter
I haven't followed on laptops that much but let's say I get a laptop with an i7 quad core @ 2GHz+ with at least 4GB of RAM... which graphics card should I get on both sides of the spectrum (nvidia and amd/ati) in order to play BF:BC2 at 60 fps minimum @ 1080p with everything set to LOW?

Thats medium at a lower res and AA. The A8 or 540m might suit your needs.

I don't think the sagers are the best bang for the buck at the moment. Maybe they were when sandy bridge first came out but at this point I found cheaper laptops elsewhere.

Yeah, I dont know if the 540m will be enough. Might have to get the gtx 460m for 1080p.

Thanks for the graph!

Even the 460m would chug at 1080p. I take that back, it would probably be ok, give you around 45 FPS.

This MSI branded machine has had my eye for a LONG time now. If I hadn't already invested all the money into my current machine, I'd have bought this machine in a heartbeat.

That laptop is nice but my budget is $1000. I don't need that much RAM (anything 4GB+ is fine), don't need a bluray player but do need at least 3 USB ports and an HDMI output.
