I saw that also, something about windows scheduler not working as it should with the modules. Overloading them instead of spreading out the work, slowing it down. Hopefully its true and we get a fix in a short period of time.

I agree with Rookie, I think he was hinting at getting a bigger PSU, Not sure exactly how big it should be, but some of the reviews had the 8150 pulling close to 450w -Overclocked, and you are probably going to OC. If that thing is pulling 450w, and your gpu is pulling 256w, you are pretty much at the limit of the 700w psu. I would not be comfortable with less than 900w, and that is what I am getting when I purchase the FX.

Other suggestion would be to go ahead and get the 990fx ud3 for $10.00 more.

It should run fine, cook is right about the wattage, it can get up high. Might want to go with a bigger psu. A reliable 1000w can handle anything. Go with that if you find a good one for the right price. I hear you can turn a 6950 into a 6970. I don't know how to do it myself, but, I would look into it.

Although I don't understand why anyone would want AM3+, the build does look nice. Good luck!

Just a heads up, and to squash the rumor. IDK where you saw that 450W Overclocked nonsense. If you honestly think a CPU is pulling 450W and is being cooled enough to run. Go do some thinking. That 450W is for the ENTIRE system. You can't honestly think that a CPU can pull that much and a cooler is keeping up with that.

MSI 6950 2GB: Should be fine...

RoseWill Green 700W: Has not held up to testing as well as the other green series PSUs. I suggest something else if you need this much power.

AMD FX-8120: Less instructions per cycle than a phenom II. 8120 isn't worth more than $170, don't get ripped. 2500K trashes the 8120 for the same price. 8120 will probably bottle your 6950 unless you are gaming in 2560x1440 or higher.

Sammy F3: Good solid drives.

Mushkin 2x4GB 1866kit: Overpriced, you can get a 1600-8-8-8@1.5V kit for $20 less per kit, then just loosen timings and set the multiplier to 1866.

SSD: Might as well get a SATA III SSD as some of them are actually pushing into that speed territory. Crucial M4s are popular for a reason.

GigaByte UD3: Would be great if there were some better CPUs available for it!
