They only thing free that I have been given aside from the usual driver level reward cars is the brand affinity which allows for free performance upgrades which is a godsend for players like me. I don't know how many cars I have bought in the previous versions and modded with all my credits earned. I feel the career mode so far is nice increasing the difficulty of the races and the events limiting you greatly on the cars you can use. This has made the races seem a lot more fun and have kept me interested in the actual career mode. Hated and loved using r3 rated cars I had tuned for races that all the cars were stupid low rating which made a lot of races boring in the last versions.
So are there cars that can only be driven in career mode or are all of the cars in the game available to drive in free mode? If the latter is the case, then does that mean the central benefit of career mode is that you can upgrade a car that you would drive stock in free mode?
