Had this problem before.

Just trade your top card with a reference model and you should be fine with temperatures.

I would swap the top and bottom cards and try again, the top one doesn't seem to be cooling properly, and you have plenty of space in between them. I don't understand why you would want to trade cards so fast, especially with a good airflow case like the HAF X.

I ran my DCUII cards in SLI at 1000mhz and didn't get that hot, something is wrong with the top card (too much voltage)? How hot does it get when you're not using furmark, which is an absolutely useless test since it throttles current cards anyways?

theyre both stock but i tool out the bottom card and the other card was fine in sli they r like a piece of paper apart

for removing the shroud necro remove the shroud on the card that heats up the most. Try that now them come back with temps. should help with cooling as it lets more air into the fans instead of trying to pull more air through it. Only downfall i think would be it looks off in your case

You're not the first to have trouble finding the last screws
They don't say how they did it but maybe the photos will help.

However seeing as the fans are attached to the shroud I don't see how taking it off is going to help matters...
