LOL! I was just thinking that while I was spraying the primer.
"Wow this looks SICK in white! Do I really want to paint it black?!"
This has been a whole awesome and fun learning experience. I'm messing up and I feel bad about it, but I'm accepting my mistakes and I'm coming up with ways to fix it in the process. See where I relocated the power cable inlet? I ended up cutting a small piece of sheet aluminum and riveting it onto the original power inlet position. Had to make way for the future radiator. Also relocated that PSU brace at the bottom of the case. So fun modding and everything. I just wish my craftsmanship was better.
It's going to be awhile till my whole rig is put back together inside the case. I won't set everything up until I get all my cables sleeved on the AX850.
By the way for the HDDCage mod, just an FYI in case anyone else want's to follow how I did the cage mod. I got a 6-32x1.5" screw, I put it through the case and then put a nut in, then a spacer, then the cage, then another nut. I figured I liked it better with the screw "fixed" on to the case, and all I had to do was take the back nut off and the spacer.Edited by Jo0 - 11/11/11 at 11:51pm
