No I got it, he said he added more heatsinks to the back of the vrms, should I do that?

If you look at the number of heatsinks included, it should cover the 2GB VRAMs and Vregs.

VRAM, not VRM

The one I bought is not the Accelero Extreme Plus or Plus II, it was the version specifically made for the 5870. The extra heatsink I added are located at the back of the card. The standard version (1GB) does not have these extra memory chips at the back of the card, that's why I had to bought some extra.

Here's a link to a review of what I bought.
http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/c..._5870_review/1

Everything is included for a normal 5870, but you will need more ramsink for the back of the card .
These are what I put on it :

@ denial_

I got the 5870 Accelero but it won't fit my Asus 5870 eyefinity 6. Theres 1 capacitor toward the front of the board that pushes up on the cooler (too high)
I bent the fins on the cooler to accomodate this & fitted the cooler.
Card won't post, just get a ticking noise like something is shorting. I pulled the cooler off & replaced std cooler, card is working fine.
I put the cooler onto my 1Gb Asus std 5870 & it's working fine.
Any ideas as to what I did wrong? I re-used the back plate on the eyefinity6 card to cool the back vram & to add stiffness to the card.
