Most Expensive Build Competition (Starting at $25,000+)

Thread Starter
Let's see who can compile the most expensive consumer build ever.
Leader updated ~Weekly

Current Leader:Lin2Dev $99,959.65

Rules v2.1:
1. Must be directly applicable to a PC computing experience (ie anything used while PC computing)
2. Must be realistically possible to implement simultaneously (Example1: Extreme quantities such as 10,000 SSDs allowed only if all supportive hardware is included, such as 1,000 raid controllers and 100 racks, etc. Example2: No redundancies of the same part or system function type allowed unless they can be feasibly used simultaneously)
3. Must be able to place all items on a single order
4. Must include Price and Parts list to qualify

*Hint* NewEgg will probably be your best bet

Bulldozer based build+electric bill.
Most of that stuff doesn't even count as the "build". Mouse pad? Router? USB adapters? Multiple webcams? I don't understand. Can we just add what ever we want to the list as long as it can fit within a 5 meter radius of our chair no matter how practical or useful it is?

Pretty sure he just went to their site and added everything he could to the "build" to inflate price.

Include whatever you want to jack up the price, as long as it is in a single order and at least related to PC computing. I think NewEgg will be your best shot
post #7 of 35
I still think I would win...

Bulldozer based gaming rig... and your monthly electric bill.
If you configure a MacPro to the most expensive everything it's $20,119.95!!!!
