edit: and is it just me, or do i see alot more 2500ks hitting 5ghz stable than 2600ks?

Well, I have no option for the dual PCIe 2.0 x16,
But What do you guys have to said about this MOBO ???
It has plenty of USB 3.0 & SATA 6Gb/s, also
those SATA 6Gb/s on the Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z
aren't supposed to be used as OS, they recommend to use it as DATA Only

:-)

What you chose it's perfect don't change anything Cooler for your cpu i suggest H100 as i have it and i am very impressed by it. Better then H100 would be a custom water loop. I have the same build as you do except the fan controller and am very pleased of my cpu+gpu. I did good to hold off my mobo and i'll probably buy the maximus IV extreme rev 3.0 too.

I choose the H100 !
Now considering in saving some money
from: $2661.07 (Shipped) to $2497.18 (Shipped)
$163.89 less
I'm thinking in buy this EVGA 580.

It could be notable difference on Battlefield 3 & some others game ??
Remember that I plan to buy another one in a near future.

i would go with the 590 and add one later. If you oc them to 630-720 core clock they surpass 580 x 3 easy and cheaper. I am planning to hold my 2x590s until after kepler so about 2-2.5 years but you can hold them for 3 or more since quad sli will pretty much handle any game that comes out in the next 2-3 years. There was a thread around that showed best performance combos and 2x590s was number 3 uner 4x580s and 4x6970s.

not really.
games DO NOT use hyperthreading and the extra cache wont help much either.
go look up performance comparison between the cpus on anandtech. Some games 2500k beats the 2600k and some games the 2600k is like 1-2 fps faster.
