So, who is going to switch to intel?

Thread Starter
Ive stuck with AMD for 4 cpus. Going from an athlon xp 2000+ to an athlon 64 3000+ to a phenom ii x3 720 to a phenom ii 1055t. Looking at the poor performance of bulldozer and its low predicted gains in its new architecture, I feel that I will be leaving AMD for Ivy bridge whenever it comes out. I feel that I've only stuck with AMD for such a long was because of its great budget build to performance ratio.

So... who will be doing the same? ^^

this is looking bad for AMD especially considering the high price of Bulldozer.

If they can't fix this via price or somehow give a crazy bundle, this is gunna be win for intel.

another win for intel may lead to insane pricing for ivy....

What!?!?!?!?????

You must have been under a rock also TBH. Intel is predicting 10-15% increase so that's quite far off from 30%.

Intel prices going up? They're crazy high as is... here anyway.
If they go any higher, I'll have to consider a plane ticket to the US in order to buy it at a sensible price...

Not going to lie...the phrase "Switching to Intel" implies all kinds of butt hurt fanboi...at least on this forum...

Ill be switching to whatever company has the best products when I decide that my rig needs re-built.
