Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was wondering what is the consensus on the Bitfenix Pro 200mm fan. I would like to replace my front fan in the 650D case and was just wondering if Bitfenix is a good buy. I am looking at the LED version. If not, could anyone recommend a good 200mm fan for a 650D case that would fit in front.

The normal Bitfenix Spectre is very quiet but it also moves next to no air

The Bitfenix Spectre move some air but are very loud

I say get a fan controller and some Pro´s that way you get both quiet and airflow

ok thank you for replying.

I'm new to this computer stuff, I just built my first computer a few days ago.

Is it hard to set up a fan controller?

Yea full line of BitFenix fans:

http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g36/c15/s1391/list/p1/Fans-12_Volt_Fans-200mm_x_20mm_Fans-Page1.html

They are cheap $16 for standard, $21 for LED versions. They move 47.4 CFM at < 20 dBA.

I'm planning on buying the Bitfenix Pro from FrozenCPU, as I already bought 2 x Akasa Viper fans from them to replace my stock rattling H110 fans. Now I have to check out some fan controllers, for noise control, and thank you for the help.

Would this NZXT sentry 2 be a good buy as far as fan controller goes?

I use a Bitfenix Hydra Pro myself its simple and it works

And you can hook up the LED lights on the Bitfenix fans to the Hydra Pro as well

So you can turn off the lights by pressing a bottom on the fan controller

The BitFenix Spectre Pro fans are all 200x200x25 as far as I know...he was looking for 200x200x20, said larger wouldn't fit so I didn't recommend them.

Realize they are 25mm thick, not 20mm. Make sure you can get them to fit or that you want to mod your case. An option is to get a grill and mount them external to the case instead of internally. I did this with some of my case fans. But if you can do that, go with 30mm instead of 25. More Airflow for less noise.
