oh yeah weavers.. dont have alot of enthusiasm for most of the choices but a few are really worth it.

love the upgraded archers...favorite combo is them and the tar pits with lots of crossbow stuns

edit:

i wanted another double post but decided this would be better

got to playing spacechem last night, and even though i suck at the game..i love it, so much fun. the puzzles are cool, i love chemistry so that bit appeals to me, i like how they stack the puzzles on each level, and the music is great. all good things guys!

I love puzzle games but theres just something about spacechem that made it hard for me to get into. I should give it more time when I can. For Orcs I also use tar pits and archers on every map that allows you. On the earlier maps I'll completely upgrade the archers first wave, build up my money for a wave or two and just put archer and tar pits everywhere. I'll put things like wall blades and barricades to make ogres and anything that gets passed them easier to kill.

yeah i can easily see how spacechem wouldnt work for alot of people.. honestly it is about that way for me because it takes me 20 minutes a puzzle lol.

oddly enough the push wall trap became really useful..

Slightly better weapons/spells or massively better traps and archers along with more gold? I can never justify picking the redhead weaver.

exactly.. think they need to rework that a bit, balance it completely one way and they said it themselves that you cant defend as a one man show

Maybe it's for showing off rather than balance. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of doing the hard work when I can get traps/guardians to do it for me. Worked for me in the Dungeon Keeper series (those games were epic).

Just picked up Dungeons of Dredmor. Will post my thoughts about it and some screenshots after a few playthrough attempts (read deaths). The binding of isaac has given me an appetite for roguelikes.

Edit: Here's a screenshot for you to feast on in the meantime. I'm already having fun with my vampiric, berserker, monk. Right now I'm landing critical hits with my feet, turning enemies into jelly and healing in the process.
