yeah but android doesn't know to use that power....
Think about it, 800 MHZ dual core A5 is on par or better than a SGII with dual core 1.5 GHZ
Ice cream sandwich is supposed to remedy this but at current time android lacks full hardware acceleration
And before you call me a fanboy This is coming from someone who swears by android and would never get an iphone

OP only phone on that looks kinda interesting is the ace

Funny how when people express their opinion about a product someone else doesn't like they are labeled a "fanboy." I love the iPhone, but would be open to a competing product. I just haven't seen one yet that I would prefer. For me, the real test was when I changed my technotard wife from an andriod-based phone to an iPhone - she could do everything without bugging me to do it. Ease of use and great features are what I look for, not the name on the phone. For me, the iPhone is the perfect phone.

Why those particular phones? I'd suggest the HTC Inspire 4G if you can get it. It is amazing. Just my opinion. me being a fanboy.

Err... You can drive them to work/school, at least, right?

And the reason for these phones being here is that they fit in my measly budget. Which is about 200.

Even funnier is when people make false assumptions. Either that, or you're confused about the definition of an "opinion." I'm the last person to knock on someone for their opinion. You gave reasons why you liked the iPhone, and you didn't make any false claims about the phone itself. That is your opinion, and I respect that.

On the other hand, when someone makes a blanket statement like "it's the most powerful phone right now," when it's clearly not, then I am free to call you out on it. My wife loves her iPhone. It's perfect for her. She hates my Android phone, and I could care less. But the fact of the matter is that there are phones in the market right now with bigger batteries, bigger screens, faster processors, and more memory than the 4S. Simply put, there is no variation of the iPhone that is superior to every other phone on the market in terms of "power." That is when I pull out the fanboy label. Not a second before.

No single phone is perfect for everyone. That's the beauty of it. I'm not going to try and argue with someone because they appreciate different features about a device than I do. It's good to be a fanboy in the sense that you love your phone and you'll talk it up to your heart's content-- I think that's an awesome feeling. Those are opinions.

Looki, I hate apple with a passion. I've had the iphone since 3g release, and I just upgraded to the new 4s. Can't wait until it gets here. Have you read the reviews for the iphone 4s? The one thing apple seems to be doing right imo, is making thier smart phones.....well....phones. Why do you want a bigger screen? It's a phone, it should fit comfortably in your pocket, and be portable. Why do you want the fastest processor on the market? It's a phone, you don't need to squeeze a fracking quad-core in a phone. Are you playing WoW on your phone? No. Are you doing high quality video editing on your phone? No.

Check out the iphone 4s, and the new IOS5 that out for it. Siri looks pretty amazing, imo. Let me reiterate. I hope apple just falls off of the computer market and sticks to tablets and phones. Now, if they could only get over whining with adobe and make the things flash capable. My ONLY complaint.

Edit: Read this review. If it doesn't tickle your fancy, then check out the new androids.

Here's another example. Is this kind of fanboyish? Yeah, a little. It's opinionated, but at the same time, they're opinions on the offense.

The thing is, some people DO really want a larger screen, even though you don't care for one. (for me, a large screen is a major selling point, and I realize that for some people it isn't) Some people DO want a faster processor, even though you can't personally find a reason for one. As soon as you can realize that not everyone puts the same stock and weight into the same features that you do, the better you'll come across to people.

Whatev, broham. I'm not hating on the other phones, iphone suits my needs more than fine. I can't speak for the other smart phones, because I have never owned them. I've fiddled a bit, but that doesn't count. I can only vouch for the iphone. I'm not sure how that is classified as fanboyish. These are the tickers that pushed me in the direction that I went. I can only share that. I'm not going to pretend that an opinion can be neutral. An opinion is exactly biased. It's supposed to be. If it sways somebody elses decision, then perhaps my opinion was simply something they hadn't considered before. In that case, we would share an opinion. You clearly do not share an opinion with me. That's cool. Tossing labels around like "fanboy" is like me dubbing you a hater. Haters gonna hate? Really? Like I said, whatev, broham.
