New PC Build

Thread Starter
Hey guys,
I'm a new member here looking to build my second PC.
As this is my first time dealing specifically with water cooling, I'm especially worried that something will go wrong for me.
I was hoping to get some critique for my build to make sure everything is compatible, or if there were any better options for parts.
The PC will mainly be used for gaming. I would also like to be able to either add the gpu to the loop, or buy another one later on if I feel the need.

Here is the build so far;
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
Mobo: EVGA Z68 FTW
Graphics: EVGA GTX 570 Classified
RAM: Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 (2x4GB) 1600mHz 8-8-8-24
SSD: Corsair Force Series 3 60GB x2
HDD: WD Black Caviar 1TB
Case: Corsair Graphite 600T
Cooling: XSPC 750 Rasa RX240
PSU: Corsair AX850 Gold

Note:
A friend recommended that I have 2 SSD's in raid0 as my OS/important games drive, and I'm not too sure about this

Looks good to me I'd swap out the 2600k for a 2500k tho and save some cash if you will be just gaming and surfing.

This from what I've seen/read while on here would be a positive idea in my opinion. You will still get a great overclock out of the 2500k at a much cheaper price.

Hey man,

Like the above posters mentioned, I would definately go with the 2500k, believe it or not it beats the 2600k in quite a few benchies for gaming .

On the note of watercooling, I want to warn you about the rasa kit. While it makes a great CPU only loop(a great one in fact), trying to add either more parts or more radiator to the loop is a bad idea s the stock pump it comes with is very... meh. A lot of people have had issues with the pump and for that reason I would either go with a contained system such as the H100, or plan to upgrade the pump/res on the rasa kit. One more thing, if you intend to add the GPU to the loop I would go with a 360mm rad, with only the 240mm for both cooling temps wouldn't be ideal...

Good luck, feel free to PM me with any watercooling ?'s.
