BFG edition will not nearly as good as these mods.

edit: WOO I got POM to work afterall! I just used mono's textures and suddenly it started working! Weird.

Seeing as Doom 3 is on sale and I have no idea where my original copy is, will these mods work on a Steam version?

Just curious to know before I buy as I'm interested in seeing the mods in action... biggrin.gif

using only wulfen's texture pack gets me dropping to 18 FPS in certain areas (unplayable); most of the time it's running around 25-35 which is bad but tolerable

sikkmod only makes things worse (much worse)

I have a 570 running stock clocks, 8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz and a 2500k @ 4.5GHz, is there anything I can do to improve performance?

Strange, with my setup I've got everything installed and enabled and with fps limiter set to 60 it stays pegged at 60 while rarely going above 50% gpu usage. Only thing I disabled was soft shadows, that kills my frames.
