I watched the links all right. Unfortunately I also read every single review that was posted on the Official review thread. I didn't pick the best 10 out of 1000 benchies.

As I said if you have a task you know BD does better in (there are some but not many), please go ahead. But otherwise? What's the point if the competition sells better CPUs for less money.

It turns out that the CHV press kit board is the problem, other board tests with asrock and gigabyte show much better performance.
People are too quick to condemn AMD,this looks to be an ASUS fail....

As things currently stand it is clear from our testing that the i7-2600K is a faster CPU in many tasks and for this reason we feel the FX-8150 needs to be a little further away from that model in pricing, especially as we expect a drop on the i7 in the near future.

^^^ This is with a ASRock Board.

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/review...onclusion.html

I see the same thing - BD is great on GPU Limited Games - That is all. And further, you're telling me AMD didn't check the press release boards?

So, AMD fanboys are picking 10 out of 1000 benchmarks to make Bulldozer look good

Anyone could do that. I can easily make i3 2100 look better than PII X6 1100T by picking the benchmarks that favors i3 2100
