AMD, at least your damage control team is working hard.
Are you just making this up? Are these more lies? Prove it.

Where else is there a review of an ASRock Extrem4 with poor results?

Link please.

With all the focus on the 8150 and 8120, has anyone benchmarked the 4100 or 6100 to the Phenom II's? Seems stupid to always compare the highest end product since I haven't seen anything on the other 2.

I can't be optimistic with these results. Hope I'm wrong but current performance aside, and it's quite underwhelming to be honest, is this really a platform with potential and scalability? Sandy Bridge has an IGP and a PCIe controller and still room for 4 cores + HT that outperform BZ with much less power draw.
I really hope Piledriver addresses the power consumption issue because if AMD wants this to scale with # of cores and clock speed, I don't see that happening unless they sort the power draw issue.

Then they expect software to catch up with some instructions, but the AVX benchmarks showed a massive difference in favour of Sandy Bridge (ok, those were pre-release benchmarks so maybe should take them with a grain of salt)

With such a low IPC they need 3 cores to match 2 Intel cores in multitasking, and AMD's cores share a lot of resources so that's not helping either. Intel could potentially release true hexa-cores in 22nm in just a few months in their mainstream platform

And it's not so simple to make applications utilise as many cores as one would like. Video encoding and stuff, probably, but it's not so easy in games for example. Putting all the eggs in the core count basket may not be the most sensible solution. After all, single threaded performance also benefits in multitasking, but who am I to question that
