There will be a slight performance hit if you go with pull instead of push.. Martin tested this and result is pull only config with no shroud being one of the worst performers, I think next to stacking 2 360 rads together as being the top worst performer..

link here..

As with many of the radiators, it's not a perfect squared rectangular shape, if you put it on pull, air flow gets sucked in from the sides between the radiator and the fan spacing, I tested this on a SR1 vs TA120.3 and found that there was a 2-3c difference both using pull only, switched it around to push only and both ended up being about the same with a added benefit of even a lower delta by 1-2c..

Just FYI

Here is the funny thing... that is the testing that convinced me to go pull...

Pull wins at low rpms...

Always use gaskets or tapes to seal gaps.

The mount will be in between the rad and the fans. I'll see how they mount together and might and some electrical tape; we shall see.

On another note... Radiators are certainly going to fit once I cut the mounts. I should have mentioned that I am going to be mounting these in a ped. I do not have an M8 or any other case, so I cannot comment on how the mounts work in those scenarios.

Ya, i meant to PM you when my 420's showed up, but i got too rapped up with my build. My side mounts are removable.

The problem isn't too much of concern, but i think it's limited to the newer Phobya, Coolgate/magicool rads that have two sets of g1/4 fittings.

The two ports on the top of the brass chambers on the 420's increase the overall length by a few mm past the inner back, (facing the back) especially if they have a stand-off increasing the port length even more. With my two 420 Phobya's, with the g1/4 plugs, was about 3mm too long, but the front end of the mount has close to 1cm space.

You could off-set the mounting holes by 3-4mm, it would be easy to get those types of rads in with some room to spare. I'll post you some pic.'s when things are ready.

BTW Im loving this case. My GF calls it the "Compensator!!!". No idea what she means by that?
