Corsair 850TXV2 vs XFX PRO850W

Hi,

Corsair 850TXV2

XFX PRO850W

Which is better? I have read that both internally are the same but is there any other diffrence? Are these good enough for 3 way gtx 570 sli or gtx 570 sli? I can get XFX for 13 euros less.

Yes, they are indeed the exact same PSU under the hood, made by Seasonic. I'd get whichever is cheaper, unless you have beef with XFX for their allegedly poor customer service. More than good enough for a pair of GTX 570s and would do for three so long as you didn't fold or run Furmark all day (i.e. fine for a normal gaming load), however you will not have enough PCIe connectors for three cards.

Well I don't know the internals and such, but I do know not to expect either of them to handle 3 way GTX570 sli.

But two way is fine and is overkill for such. It's a toss up of which one to go for. Go for the cheaper, best warrantied, or best looking one that would match up your build.

With 20 euro more i can get this one XFX XFX 850W Black Edition Modular. So apart from being Modular is there any difference?

XFX XFX 850W Black Edition Modular, 850 W, 12, 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz, 70 A, 88 %, Negro: Amazon.es: Electrónica
Seriously, all these power supplies you've linked are all great and there wouldn't be much if at all difference between them.

Myself would just go by the looks of the psu and how it goes with my case theme, when it comes to these psus.

I would go with Corsair. XFX doesn't have very good customer service.

It's a completely different unit under the hood and it performs better than the first 850W you mentioned (in addition to its being modular). Still made by Seasonic. Still one of the best units available on the market. I own the 750W version of it.

I would stick with the Corsair, because of the poor RMA service of XFX for Europe. If else, i'll get the Black edition modular - less cables

I would say corsair, but might if the XFX is cheaper its the same unit inside, so might as well get extra 100 watts which you will need for that tri sli setup your planning.
