BD < Phenom II, yes true, now get over it and stop mocking AMD.

At least now we AMD users that dont want intel domination and high prices, can have a 5ghz cpu \\o/!

How many times do we have to go over this?

2500K - 219.99 - Newegg, 179.99 - Microcenter
ASRock Z68 Extreme 3 - 129.99

Total : 349.98

FX-8120 : 219.99
ASRock 990FX Extreme 3 - 139.99

Total : 359.98

Explain to me how intel is overpriced when it costs more to build a bulldozer system that perform's less then the Intel system?

I've never posted a bulldozer fail post and i never will. Don't take out your aggression towards amd on me.

Intel its not overpriced now, but if it were to anihilate amd from the x86 cores market, then prices would skyrocket.

Thats why he ought to hope the best for BD. Competition to drive to keep prices down.

Amd hasn't been competitive with intel on a performance level since 2006 and prices have been very low.

Core i7 920 - 289.99
core I5 760 - 219.99
Core i7 860 - 289.99
Core i5 2500K - 219.99

I think Intel have only been low priced on the 775 socket... amd have been much more friendly at pricing their budget cpu parts, because 775 socket is really obsolete.

AMD did the same when they were on top. Remember how much opterons and FX chips were? They were stupid expensive.

Agreed, Anyhow it was good reading. I have started looking into what companies may do to address this with future software and what the true difference is between Windows 7 and 8. I however get the feeling windows 7 will receive an update to help with the listed as AMD does hold a pretty nice market share. Not huge but enough for Microsoft to be forced in taking action about this, they do not want to lose a lot of people to Linux which will receive optimizations at some point. I have noticed a lot more reviews coming out posting higher numbers than the earlier ones lately as well.
