[First Build] Cobra Custom PC :D

Hey guys!

I recently built my very first custom gaming rig which cost me about £620! It's pretty high spec but over-clocking is still on my list of things to do Since it was my first build, I decided to document it over the 4-5 hours it took to build, and have written a blog post for the installations over on my special PC blog on tumblr. The idea is that, if people read the blog who haven't built their own PCs before, then they might get some inspiration for how relatively simple it was for a newbie like myself and might consider it for themselves too!

If you are at all interested in reading the blog, you can find it here http://cobracustom.tumblr.com/ but I plan to post up each entry here too so you won't be missing anything

I hope you like the idea, but most of all, I hope my newbie building skills were up to your standards haha! I really, really enjoyed the build and will definitely do it again. I know we need a new computer in the living room, considering the one we have is an absolute dinosaur and runs on DDR1 memory which is blooming expensive now-a-days, so that could be a start but we;ll see how it goes, as I plan to lightly mod my computer in time

Once again, hope you like it and thanks for taking an interest in it!

Nice Job, if you could, please give some detail on how you do your cable management with that case.

I have a very old Cooler Master Elite (the first ever??) and I have taken my dremel to it numerous times in order to create some much needed cable management. I was looking at ordering a new case and the Elite 430 was on my radar. I really want a bottom mounted PSU case so your build story is quite helpful.
