personally i'd wait for more better versions of these zambezi's cause this is rediculas specially on the power consumption something is awfully wrong.

I'm curious too, since the FX 4100 is very cheap, but so is the A8-3850...I need a cheap gaming rig. That said, if you compare the A8-3850 to the Phenom 2 X4 965 on Anandtech's Bench, you see that although the X4 965 has it beaten, in the game benches, it's not a huge difference.

The Phenom 2 X4's are becoming hard to find, so that pretty much leaves me with the choice of a FX4100 and a Asus M5A87 board, or an A8-3850 and an Asus F1A75 - V Pro/Evo board...

The new FM1 Athlons (A8 Llanos with GPU disabled) supposedly overclock ridiculously well with a bios MSI has designed for them (theres an option to lift the TDP limit). They hit 4.4GHz+ on stock voltages.

i am going to wait, pulled the chip i have till updates are made. went and bought a 960t off newegg, till BD has been better softwared.
